“GASBOOK 33 YOSHIROTTEN” was published in 2013 and is the first collection of his works to be published in about four years after “GASBOOK 28 YOSHIROTTEN” . In recent years, YOSHIROTTEN has produced visuals for international fashion events, such as NY / HYPE FEST, Tokyo / Amazon Fashion “AT TOKYO” , key visual productions such as G-SHOCK 35th Anniversary, worked for various musicians both in Japan and overseas, various types of famous artistsʼ collaboration with Alejandro Hodlovsky and Mika Ninagawa. He also did the interior direction for DOMICLE TOKYO, a select shop in Harajuku. Range of his expression is continuing to expand, as he keeps on working between a wide variety of genres. Simultaneously with the publication of this book, a large-scale solo exhibition "FUTURE NATURE" was held at TOLOT in Shinonome, Tokyo, which was visited by 5,000 people during the 19 days. For him, itʼs the second issue of GASBOOK in which through 96 pages, we introduce a huge number of works that have been created by him so far. 「GASBOOK33 YOSHIROTTEN」は、2013年に出版したYOSHIROTTEN初作品集「GASBOOK28 YOSHIROTTEN」 から約4年ぶりの刊行となる作品集。近年YOSHIROTTENは、Amazon Fashion “AT TOKYO”、G-SHOCK 35th Anniversary のキービジュアル制作や、国内外様々なミュージシャンのビジュアル制作、原宿のセレクトショップDOMICLE TOKYO の内装ディレクション、BEAMS原宿店、LUMINE ZEROでのインスタレーションイベントのスペースデザインなどを 手がけてきました。多岐にわたるジャンルにて、さらに表現の幅を広げ、東京、ロンドン、ベルリンでの個展を 開催しました。本書では、過去数年から最新のものまで、彼の作品を全11項目を通して伝えます。 ---------------------------- Artist bio / YOSHIROTTEN Yoshirotten is a Tokyo based graphic artist and an art director who works across wide range of fields, with a specific focus on art, fashion and music. He has gained international recognition – commercially and artistically – with work for vast client list ranging from multinational companies or luxury brands to emerging artists including Stivie Wonder, TIGA, DJ hell, Boysnoize, ACE Hotel, NY city magazine, NEW ORDER MAGAZINE, NIKE, Aerospace Exploration Agency, Onitsuka Tiger, INSIGHT, AMBUSH®, UNIQLO, The key visuals for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo 2015 S/S, ART FAIR TOKYO 2015 and Asia Fashion Award in Taipei 2016, among many others. He is also constantly working on his art works that are original yet fantastic. He is not afraid to challenge himself to create his own universe through various media from prints to sculptural pieces. Those works always contains his aesthetic, surprise and his tune to it. He released 4 zines of his artwork in the past. His personal motto is Style is ever changing, however change is brought by strong will - which is unchanging.
